A very special ABBA-themed brunch will descend on the Civic Quarter later in the year - with audiences encouraged to dress up, dance, sing along, and tuck into as much food and drink as they like.
‘The Brunch Club’ hosts are also bringing a live band along for the ride - playing renditions of all the ABBA classics.
If you know the lyrics word-for-word to 'Dancing Queen', 'SOS', and 'Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!' and are partial to a cocktail or two, this is definitely your scene.
As well as the immersive entertainment - the Mamma Mia! experience will also be hosting a quiz with prizes up for grabs for the winners.
Food dishes include the huge Brunch Grill (with eggs, bacon, sausages, tomatoes, mushrooms, beans and toast) and a gluten-free equivalent; Avocado Brunch (smashed avocado on sourdough, with tomatoes, chilli flakes, coriander and Sriracha sauce); and Blueberry, Banana & Nutella Pancakes.
Free-flowing Aperol Spritz, Ketel V&T, Blank Canvas, Amstel, Prosecco, Bloody Mary, Heineken 0.0% and selected soft drinks will all be available from the bar throughout.
Two types of tickets can be purchased - including a bottomless brunch option or a standard brunch.
The Mamma Mia! brunch club will burst into action at Revolution Electric Press from 11am on Sunday 24 October.
"After years of late nights, strong cocktails, and incredible stories; The Maven will close its doors"
It's a sad day for the Leeds night life scene, as a beloved speakeasy bar has today announced that it will be closing its doors for good.
The Maven has been a firm favourite for many years with those looking to enjoy some experimental and expertly made cocktails.
Hidden behind an unassuming door at the top of Call Lane, it was a great spot to visit if you were looking for something that little bit special.
Announcing the news to their social media, The Maven said: "From the bottom of our hearts we thank you for being our guests over the years and promise that until then, we'll do our best to give you the best nights out on Call Lane."
