The news comes after a 1-0 defeat to Nottingham Forest yesterday.
Jesse Marsch, Leeds United manager, has officially left the club following a series of defeats.
Marsch's final match was the seventh game without a win, and seems to have been the final straw for the club.
The former RB Leipzig and Red Bulls Salzberg coach took over Leeds football club last year, when they were 16th in the table, taking over from Marcelo Bielsa.
The club fought off relegation last year with a last minute win against Brentford on the final day of the 2021/22 season and finished in 17th place.
In his 32 Premier League games as manger, Marsch has only seen the team win 25% of the time.
The manager isn't the only one to have been dropped by the team either, Rene Maric, Cameron Toshack and Pierre Barrieu are all leaving Leeds United, as announced by the club this afternoon.
The team are still due to play long-standing rivals Manchester United twice this week, with an away game at Old Trafford on Wednesday 8 February and then back at Elland Road on Sunday 12 February 2023.
Leeds United released this statement announcing that the manager had been 'relieved of his duties':
"Leeds United can confirm head coach Jesse Marsch has been relieved of his duties.
"Jesse joined the club in February 2022 and was instrumental in keeping the club in the Premier League on the final day of last season.
"We would like to thank Jesse and his backroom staff for their efforts and wish them well for the future.
"The process of appointing a new head coach is underway and we will continue to keep supporters up to date throughout the coming days."
It is expected that more news will follow this announcement in the coming days as Leeds United look for a new head coach.

Announcing the very exciting news to Instagram, Silver's Deli said: "Well it’s happening. I said no more shops, but it’s kinda necessary, and I just love all things baked.
"There’s waaaaaaaaay too many details to share on this right now, but go give our sister shop @silvers_bakehouse a new follow and hold on tight. This is gonna be fun as fuck."

Customers can expect a wider range of Silver's goodies that they're unable to whip up in the current space. From soft amaretti biscuits and their famous cookies to sausage rolls and brownies that the team have been working on for 12 months.
