A massive outdoor screening of hit musical favourite The Greatest Showman is coming to the historic grounds of Leeds’ Harewood House this September – and tickets have just gone on sale.
The 2017 smash shit, which featured Zac Efron and Hugh Jackman, is inspired by the story of P. T. Barnum’s creation of Barnum’s American Museum and its star attractions.
It tells the tale of a visionary who rose from oblivion to create a spectacular worldwide sensation through the original using the medium of song – featuring nine original tracks from Benj Pasek and Justin Paul.
This September, it will come to Leeds for a special one-off singalong screening at stunning 18th-century countryside manor Harewood House.
Nestled in the stunning Yorkshire countryside, a huge outdoor screen will be situated on the North Lawn in front of the house for the event.
Hosted in partnership with the Luna Cinema, there will be a bar on-site serving a good selection of alcoholic and soft drinks and hot food will also be available to purchase from Harewood House’s gourmet street food vendors.
Alternatively, if you like, you’re welcome to pack a picnic for the night – just note that glass bottles are not allowed on site.
Tickets are priced at £16 for adults, £11 for children and £8 for disabled guests attending with a carer.
The singalong screening is just one of a series of special screenings planned at the grounds this September.
Other exciting film classics with tickets newly on sale include Dirty Dancing, Top Gun and Downtown Abbey.
Located roughly 8 miles outside of Leeds, there is parking for drivers with stewards on hand to direct you on arrival.
It’s worth noting that tickets can only be booked online in advance of the events – so make sure to book early if you don’t want to miss out on this special screening under the stars.
