The American rockers are touring again after a decade, and they’ll be kicking it off right here in Leeds.
It’s safe to say we’re feeling very flattered.
Alabama Shakes – comprised of Brittany Howard, Zac Cockrell and Heath Fogg – will play Leeds’ Millennium Square as part of Sounds of the City 2026.
The acclaimed trio from Athens, Alabama will come to Leeds on Wednesday 1 July and The Mount At Wasing on Thursday 2 July 2026.
The highly anticipated pair of shows are in addition to the previously announced date at Alexandra Palace on Friday 3 July.
A very busy week for the blues rockers who will be no doubt playing to packed-out audiences of adoring fans who have missed them dearly.
The exciting news of these live dates comes after the trio shared Another Life – their first slice of new music in a decade.
They are currently working on more material for 2026 and are set for appearances at Gent Jazz in Belgium, Lucca Summer Festival in Italy, and NOS Alive in Lisbon, Spain.

Tickets for the Alabama Shakes at Millennium Square go on pre-sale from 10am GMT on Wednesday 3 December, and then on general sale from 10am GMT on Friday 5 December.
