The year is already shaping up to be a great one for new openings in the city, and it's only getting better.
We’re already spoilt for choice for incredible restaurants, shops and things to do here in Leeds.
But our cityscape is about to get even better and it’s all thanks to a whole host of new openings cropping up over the next few months.
From another brand of a local favourite to a luxury beauty brand popping up inside Victoria Quarter, we're all in for an absolute treat.
Let's take a look then shall we?
Homeboy Pizza Co 2.0

It’s no secret amongst us Leeds lot that if you’re looking for a good slice of pizza, then there’s no where better to go than Homeboy Pizza Co.
Harry has just announced that he’ll be opening a second Homeboy Pizza Co in Roundhay and we’re absolutely buzzing about it.
Taking over the former Harpo’s takeaway on Street Lane, the new spot will be opening up this summer and until then we’ll be counting down the days.Â
The legendary Indian restaurant group is coming to Leeds, and we're absolutely buzzing about it.
Dishoom is inspired by the Irani cafes of 1960s Bombay, which were meeting places for people from all walks of life.
Famed for their Indian twist on a classic breakfast (seriously, their breakfast naans are out of this world), Dishoom offers an all-day dining approach so you can get your Bombay fix from morning to noon and noon to night.
Planning permission is up for the restaurant to take over the former Flannels site on Vicar Lane, so fingers crossed it won't be too long until we can all get stuck in.
Byredo
The Victoria Quarter

Ready to smell one million bucks?
The iconic shopping quarter has announced that Byredo is set to open inside the Victoria Quarter, making it the brand’s first location outside of London. Pretty cool if you ask us.
Byredo has signed on for a 2,154 sq ft space inside the beautiful Victoria Quarter and will stock a huge selection of their luxury fragrance as well as makeup, home goods and accessories.
In news that will most definitely get you a little bit excited, a new canal-side pub is in the works from the iconic team behind Whitelock’s Ale House.
The pub is called the Brewery Wharf Tavern and is located at (shock) Brewery Wharf and it’s taking over the old Home spot by Liz Cotham which sadly closed a couple of months ago.
We don't know much else, but we're sure it's going to be class.

A stylish new rooftop bar and restaurant has been announced for Trinity Leeds, replacing the coveted Angelica and Crafthouse site on the top floor.
Introducing ‘CrowdedHouse’, a new concept from the team behind Three’s A Crowd that closed their Leeds restaurant in February but still runs successfully in Harrogate.
CrowdedHouse will be an all day, multi-use drinking and dining venue boasting incredible views of the city.
Leeds has been named as one of the most underrated city breaks in the UK by Time Out.
It's time to cancel your city break to London, Edinburgh or wherever you think the grass is greener...because Leeds is now the place to beat.
A new article by Time Out has crowned Leeds as one of the most underrated locations for a UK city break, and we couldn't agree more.
The article praises Leeds for it's fabulous independent music venues, sprawling green spaces and standout restaurants.

In fact, they perfectly paint out how your city break in Leeds could look. From seeing a gig at the Brudenell Social Club and enjoying dinner at the critically acclaimed Highland Laddie, to drinking at The Domino Club and exploring the 700-acre fields of Roundhay Park.
But don't just take our word for it, here's what the piece had to say about our wonderful city: "Anyone who has ever lived in Leeds already knows its brilliance. From unrivalled independent music venues to sprawling green spaces to quietly outstanding restaurants, this Yorkshire city has it all.
"But outside of God’s Own County, it’s not necessarily the first place people think of when planning a UK day trip or staycation...For starters, it’s the home of Brudenell Social Club, which Time Out recently crowned the greatest live music venue in the entire UK.
"Leeds’ food scene is something to behold, too. Bavette, with its perfectly prepared French fare, is Time Out’s favourite restaurant there (it recently earned a Michelin Bib Gourmand for its excellent value), closely followed by the uber-cool Empire Cafe, the wondrous Ox Club and the intimate Sushi Nakamura."
We agree with absolutely everything being said, and it's got us craving a city break in our very own city. You can read the full article here.
A new Irish bar with live music is opening in Leeds this weekend
Clementine Hall
We hope you like Guinness, because Leeds city centre is gaining another Irish bar.
If you're looking for a guaranteed night of fun, then you can do a lot worse than heading to your nearest Irish bar, grabbing a pint of the black stuff and dancing to some Irish music.
Located on Swinegate near the Malmaison Hotel, The Temple Tavern promises an authentic Irish experience.
We're talking plenty of Guinness, live music and of course, great craic. Although the latter part sort of relies on you...
Announcing the news to Instagram, The Temple Tavern said: "Swinegate… we’re coming for you. A brand new Irish bar is on the way, and we can’t wait to show you what we’ve been working on.
"Think great pints, proper Irish charm, and the kind of atmosphere that keeps you out longer than planned. No gimmicks — just good craic, great drinks, and even better nights. Opening soon. Stay tuned."

And the opening night is here, as the new bar will be soft launching today Friday 3 July at 4pm, they continued: "Expect creamy Guinness, proper craic, authentic Irish music, and the warmest Irish welcome in Leeds. Be one of the first to raise a pint with us."
So rally your mates together, hit up the group chat and pay a visit to the city's newest bar, it'll be cheaper than a trip to Dublin that's for sure.
