Our city is bursting at the seems with brilliant late night venues for students, but now it’s officially been confirmed.
And that’s because with Freshers’ Week just around the corner, Canvas set out to decipher the very best cities in the UK for student nightlife.
They analysed key factors that make a really fantastic student night out like drink prices, the number and ratings of nightlife venues as well as local safety scores.
And luckily, if you’ve got Leeds as your student city of choice then you’re in for a brilliant three years as we ranked number four in the top ten list. Get in.

Averaging at £5.00 for a beer and £1.71 for a soft drink, a night out won’t break the bank and our numerous venues hold an impressive average rating of 4.40.
Throw in a safety score of 47.28, and Leeds is firmly securing its place in the top five. Class.
