Legendary Bavarian beer, bratwurst and music festival returns to Leeds

Four days of legendary German beers, a live oompah and brass band and currywurst – sign me up

Oktoberfest is back in Leeds, with legendary Bavarian beer, bratwurst and live music from acts including an Oompah and brass band.

The iconic Bavarian celebration of Steins, bratwurst, and sing-along party tunes will take place at Globe Waterside, running across a four-day period.

After a year’s hiatus, Oktoberfest is back in Leeds with festivities kicking off from Thursday 7th October.

There’ll be plenty of premium Bavarian beer on offer at the festival

Famous worldwide for its electric atmosphere and guaranteed frivolities, think huge steins of beer, lots of dancing and traditional eats with the Oktoberfest Leeds team ready to make up for lost time.

Originating from Munich way back in 1811, Oktoberfest has become synonymous with traditional German party culture across the globe.

The event is fast becoming a staple of West Yorkshire’s entertainment calendar, with 2021 marking its fifth year in the city. 

A live Oompah and brass band will provide entertainment at the 4-day festival

Those heading down can expect a solid range of first-class German beers, delicious Currywurst’s from the famous Get Wurst, and rousing, foot-stomping entertainment from the house band.

For those who really want to go big, there’s a handful of VIP tickets on sale too. These include a free stein, table service and a Bavarian hat to wear or take home as a souvenir.
