Fancy a free bit of scran? Then do not fear, as our good friend Ronald McDonald has got you covered this festival weekend.
It’s that time again, Leeds Festival is taking over Bramham Park for one of the biggest weekends of the year and it’s going to be a good one.
With hundreds of food vendors setting up camp, the beloved golden arches are getting in on the action and making a very special appearance is Ronald McDonald and his trusty helpers.
This summer the fast food giant have been handing out freebies all festival season and luckily for us, Leeds Fest is their next stop.
So, what’s on offer? This year you’ll be able to get some free fries from the stall during your visit, making it the perfect pitstop to make between acts in order to refuel and revitalise.
And it doesn’t just stop there, Maccy D’s will also be giving away some free merchandise including themed summer shirts, hair braiding and glitter. Seems a little bit different than your average drive-thru experience and we are here for it.
As reported by LeedsLive, a spokesperson for the fast food chain has said “McDonald’s will be rocking up this year with its airstream camper serving free fries to approximately 100,000 festival-goers. And as part of the activation, also giving away free McDonald’s themed summer shirts plus free braiding and face glitter stations.”
The festival, which kicks off today for the eager early birds, is set to be one for the history books. The Arctic Monkeys, Dave, Bring Me The Horizon, The 1975, Halsey and Charli XCX are all headliners and will be sure to bring a massive crowd making it a weekend not to forget.
