Charli XCX and AJ Tracey to replace Jack Harlow and Måneskin at Leeds Festival

The festival will take place in Bramham Park on August Bank Holiday weekend.

The festival confirmed their latest line-up yesterday afternoon just a week before the gates open to one of the biggest music festivals in the country.

Charli XCX and AJ Tracey have been announced by Reading and Leeds Festival as replacements for Jack Harlow and Måneskin.

Earlier this week, the organisers announced that the two highly anticipated acts would not be able to perform, much to the dismay of fans across the country.

The festival bosses said in a statement: “We are saddened to hear that Jack Harlow and Måneskin have decided to perform at an award show the same weekend they were confirmed to play Reading and Leeds.”

Festival goers took to Twitter to predict who would be announced as the replacements. Manchester rapper Aitch and American sweetheart Olivia Rodrigo were both rumoured to take the coveted spot, only for these to be debunked yesterday 18 August 2022.

Leeds Festival released a short statement announcing the acts.

The withdrawals were confirmed just days after headliners Rage Against the Machine were forced to pull out due to a ‘medical issue’ which saw Northern pop-rock band The 1975 step in as worthy replacements.

Charli XCX will be performing on the Main Stage East on Friday 26 August 2022, joining the likes of Halsey, Bastille, Pale Waves and Leeds’ own Bad Boy Chiller Crew to welcome the first day of festival-goers to one of the UK’s biggest music festivals.

AJ Tracey will be bringing the crowds to the same stage on Sunday 28 August, ending the weekend with a bang alongside iconic Sheffield legends The Arctic Monkeys, Fontaines D.C., Bring Me The Horizon and Wolf Alice.

Weekend admission to the festival is now sold out but tickets are still available for Friday as a day ticket, costing £94.00 each. These can be bought here on the official Leeds Festival website.
