Rabbit Hole Coffee has opened a brand-new cafe in Leeds city centre, just months after closing their Victoria Quarter site.
The much-loved coffee shop, which has sites over in Moortown and on the Leeds Beckett Campus, has now opened the doors to a third site just off Leeds Dock.
Rabbit Hole Coffee has taken up a spot at the new Rose Wharf development, right on the River Aire.
The waterside cafe will have outdoor seating overlooking the water, which Rabbit Hole’s owner Ste says is going to be the best spot in town for a coffee.
It’s great news for all of us in the city centre who have sorely missed Rabbit Hole Coffee since they ducked out of the Victoria Quarter last year (in fairness, that site was only meant to be a pop-up, they just never left).
The coffee shop said it was ‘buzzing our chebs off’ to be part of the Rose Wharf redevelopment.
The space (both coffee shop and the wider building) has been designed by Leeds-based Design Tonic Ltd, which Rabbit Hole Coffee said has been ‘a massive pull’ for their new location.

A statement from Ste said: “I’ve tried to use fancy words when I’ve been asked about it but, the best way to describe it is that all the offices are just DEAD POSH!!!
“The last two images [of the waterside frontage] are, for me, the biggest selling point. There will be nowhere better in Leeds to sit and have coffee, there I’ve said it. And if I’m not working it’ll probably be up there as one of the best coffees in Leeds as well!
“Thank you to @caddickconstruction for trusting us with this one, can’t wait to get started, sorry for saying chebs.”
Rabbit Hole Coffee is open for coffees at Rose Wharf now, with a proper launch date to follow soon.
