Retro arcade bar chain, NQ64, set to open new site in Leeds City Centre

It’s time to get our game on.

The popular gaming bar will be opening its new venue on Merrion Street this summer.

If you’re a fan of all things gaming, then you’re going to be excited about this new opening.

NQ64 specialises in retro arcade games, fun cocktails and a fantastic late night atmosphere.

With two sites in Manchester and others in Liverpool, Newcastle, Birmingham, Cardiff and London, it’s about time it came over to our wonderful city of Leeds.

And luckily for us it is, as NQ64 will be taking over Manahatta’s old site over on Merrion Street.

So what can we expect?

The concept is simple, loads of retro arcade games for you to play on to your heart’s content complete with a fantastic drinks menu in an underground, cool atmosphere.

Expect loads of neon lights plus funky music to get you in the gaming headspace.

For games we’re talking Mario Kart, Guitar Hero, Pac-Man and so much more – all the nostalgic fun to transport you back to playing on your Xbox after school.

Drinks wise you’ve got an exciting cocktail menu to choose from with drinks inspired by classic games and characters, like the neon green Cowabunga cocktail inspired by the Teenage Mutant Ninga Turtles and the Quick Revive Number Five inspired by Call Of Duty.

There’s no exact opening date yet, but it is expected that NQ64 will be opening its doors on Merrion Street very soon.

So foot on the pedal, hands on the wheel Leeds – it’s nearly time to get our game on.
