Located in their huge beer hall, nestled amongst their sixty plus lines of beers from around the world, they promise a night of quizzes and games: start with the pub quiz and if you’re successful, your prize will be selected when you spin the wheel of fortune.

Head down to Headrow House for 6.30 pm on a Tuesday evening and take full advantage of their free entry and grab a pint before getting your game face on.

Brunch Social with unlimited pizza

If you’re looking for some weekend things to do inspiration, look no further than Flight Club’s incredible Brunch Social offering. There’s two hours of unlimited pizza to kick off the brunching experience every Thursday – Sunday, served up on giant paddles. There’s elite tier pizzas here and they’re loaded with toppings and there’s not a margarita in sight (unless that’s what you want to order).

Grab a slice with one hand and a dart with the other: this brunch club has the option to add a sampler of Social Darts. You’ll have a full hour to throw darts to your heart’s content in the oche and a bottle of Prosecco EACH to get through.

Humbl Coffee Shop opening

Friday 1 July 2022 | Monk Bridge Road, Meanwood

From an up-cycled horse trailer to a coffee shop, Humbl is the UK’s first battery powered mobile coffee shop with a lockdown success story that started off, and continues to be, an entirely self-funded small business. Now, you’ll be able to grab a cup of Joe from their first cafe from this Friday onwards.

Open 8am-3pm on weekdays and 10am-4pm at the weekend, you’ll find all of your favourite coffee shop options from the horse trailer inside their very own four walls, as well as a comfy seat or two to while away the afternoon.

AmityFest22 Craft Beer Festival

Friday 1 July – Sunday 3 July 2022 | Amity Brew Co., Farsley

Amity Brew is celebrating two years in Leeds and hosting Farsley’s first ever craft beer festival to say thankyou to all of the customers, collaborations and local breweries that have supported them through their journey so far. Expect to find food trucks aplenty, live music and DJs all day long as well as some serious beer and craft ales to choose from.

Tickets to enter the beer tent cost £10 each or pay £34.99 for all four sessions over three days- both of which include an exclusive Amityfest glass.

Tom Grennan Live

Friday 1 July 2022 | Halifax Piece Hall

The Found What I’ve Been Looking For singer-songwriter will be taking over Halifax’s Piece Hall and kicking off everyone’s weekend with melodic riffs and feel good summer anthems aplenty.

Tickets cost £32.50 but there are also a number of premium tickets availble at £70 each.

Mardi Gras Festival

Saturday 2 July 2022 | Roundhay Park, Roundhay

Mardi Gras Festival is back for another year with legendary locals and international acts set to take over Roundhay Park all day Saturday. Expect to witness the likes of Clean Bandit and Joel Corry on the main stage with Raye, Roger Sanchez, Majestic, Jodie Harsh and so much more to embrace.

If that’s not enough, there’s some serious foodie options inside the International Food Village. Choose from legendary slices from Homeboy Pizza Co, Soul Stone Coffee, Istanbul Grill and The Chaat Walas, as well as options like Barney’s Churros
and taco conessuiers Jimmy Macks Street Kitchen.

Curry and Beer Festival

After the success of the 2021 festival, Leeds’ Curry and Beer Festival is returning to the city for 2022 with a whole host of independent traders offering food and drink from around the world. Located in the leafy back garden of the city: Roundhay Park, Sunday 3 July 2022 will see one of Europe’s largest parks transformed into a foodie hub that champions independents from around the city and beyond.

Whether you’re a fan of the dhansak, saag, korma, jalfrezi, or vindaloo, there’s sure to be something for everyone here with the festival promising a ream of different street food traders turning up to cook on the day. Of course, it goes without saying that Leeds knows what it’s doing when it comes to top beer – so we expect to see some of Yorkshire’s finest pulling up with their freshest craft brews too.
