House of KoKo are leading the brunch game in Leeds' leafy suburbs. Known for their middle-eastern twist on classic brunch dishes, you may have to queue for a table here but let us tell you it is absolutely worth it.
Their pancakes are as fluffy as can be and don't forget to order a side of their legendary hash browns.
Laynes

Laynes is not only known for its banging coffee and iconic yellow facade, but their breakfast is something to write home about too.
Not only are their pastries baked to perfection, their cooked dishes are executed expertly every single time. Get the Turkish eggs and thank us later.
Moose

Okay, if you've got a raging hangover and need a plate of food big enough to feed a family of four then Moose is your answer. This Canadian-inspired brunch spot are serving hearty American dishes like pancakes, waffles and potato hash all with gallons of maple syrup on the side. Class.
IF Up North

These guys have been slinging out brunch for some time now, and their two spots in the city are always packed full of hungry punters. Serving up your classics like avocado toast, a great full English and a banging breakfast burrito, this brunch spot is always a good idea whether you're hungover or not.
North Star Coffee
Unit 32 The Blvd, LS10 1PZ

You will know North Star Coffee for their...well...coffee. Stocking baristas with the good stuff from years now, their beans are the best of the best and the same goes for their brunch.
With a seasonal menu that changes with the trees, expect posh beans on toast, seasonal pancakes and specials such as duck and waffles. Located by The Docks, it's one of our favourite spots to visit in the city.
Thirty Nine The Grove

If you're looking to escape the hustle and bustle for breakfast then look no further than Thirty Nine. Nestled in the beautiful spa town of Ilkley, this family-run brunch spot is home to some of the very best brekkie we’ve had.
Eggs, sandwiches, bakes, house-blend coffee and sides of hash browns, it’s got everything a brunch menu needs and more. Wrapped up in a super cosy environment, it’s perfect for catching up with your closest people or just sitting back and people watching out of their big windows.Â
Green Room

You'll know it for its party atmosphere and brilliant cocktails, but Green Room also serve up breakfast courtesy of Bastards Bistro and its very good indeed.
We're talking steak and eggs, Turkish eggs with homemade flat breads or a full English with crispy pork belly (yeah, you heard that right), your hangover will be cured just in time to get back on the spritzes. And luckily, you're in just the place...
Residence

If you're over that end of town, then Residence if your go-to for a great brunch. Great coffee, great food and a lovely relaxing atmosphere. You really can't go wrong.
White Cloth Hall

New kid on the block White Cloth Hall is one of the city's most sought after venues. Run by the owners of Whitelock's Ale House, you just know it's going to be good and guess what? It absolutely is.
Inside you've got a selection of food vendors to choose from, from Morty's focacceria serving stacked brekkie sandwiches to breakfast tacos from Salma's. Or just order the lot and share with mates, because one dish is simply not enough.

So, how does it work? Kerala Canteen isn't your traditional curry house, but the concept means you get to try more of the menu in one go.

The kitchen is led by renowned chef Bobby Geetha, known for appearances on MasterChef: The Professionals and Great British Menu.

There's a huge selection of vegan and vegetarian options on the menu too so no one in your party has to miss out, with dishes like the chilli and tamarind cauliflower and gunpowder hasselback potatoes being standouts on the menu.
Visit on a Saturday and get involved in their iconic Bollywood Bottomless Brunch where for just £36 per person you can enjoy one bowl and one side alongside 90 minutes of free flowing drinks.

We’ve been waiting for this one and trust us, it’s just as good as we’d hoped.Â
If you’re a fan of a cheeky margarita, a taco and a bit of a boogie then this is the spot for you - and let’s be honest, who isn’t.Â
Introducing Salon Madre, made famous over in Manchester and now with another spot in Liverpool, think late nights fuelled by margaritas, cosy dates over tacos and lively game nights.
The new Leeds site is located on Wellington Street, perfect for those wrapping up work over on Wellington Place and looking to blow off some steam.

The space is huge, with floor to ceiling windows letting loads of light in during the day and plenty of red neon lights setting the vibe for the evening.
There's about 20 different variations of margaritas and tequilas on the menu, as well as fresh Mexican beers on tap if you're not ready for a shot just yet.
But it's not just about the drink, the food menu is top notch too.

There's tacos and quesadillas all made with hand-pressed tortillas, twice-cooked chicken wings in a range of flavours from Mexican cola to Yucatan buffalo, and of course there's stacked nachos which are perfect for snacking on between sips of margarita.
If you're feeling competitive then they've got six pool tables as well as darts, and Lucha Libre on the big screens if you'd rather watch the play happen than play yourself.
