FlixBus has only been operating in the UK for two years – but it’s offering some of the most inexpensive travel options across Europe.
The popular coach company has now announced it will be expanding its Leeds travel destinations all the way over to Amsterdam.
And it’s almost certainly going to cost you less than a plane fare.
From £31.98, you can head down to Leeds coach station and wake up in the Netherlands – all without the faff of delays at the gate and that airport commute that always takes longer than you expect.
The service is currently scheduled once a day leaving Leeds Kirkgate at 3pm and arriving in Amsterdam at 9.30am the following morning

The buses come free WiFi and outlets to charge everything you need for your journey too.
It is reported that Leeds isn’ the only city to receive this new travel option either, Sheffield, Nottingham, Leicester, Cambridge, Stratford, North Greenwich, Antwerp and Utrecht have all been added to the coach journey’s map.
The service is reported to be operated by Whippet Coaches, a long-term partner of FlixBus.
Andreas Schorling, Managing Director of FlixBus UK, has told newspapers across the UK that: “Summer travel just became more affordable and sustainable than ever thanks to our new international and domestic routes.
“We’re building the largest coach network in the country and as part of our unique offering, we’ll become first coach provider offering regular scheduled services from cities like Leeds, Sheffield, Nottingham and Bristol into Amsterdam, as one of the most popular destinations in Europe.
