This Leeds American candy store stocks every type of Reeces and Nerds

There’s an incredible selection of imported candy from around the world.

Located on Commercial Street in Leeds city centre, you’ll find some of the most unique sweets around.

Kingdom of Sweets in Leeds is the only place you can channel your inner immature self and act like, well, a kid in a candy store.

Founded in 2007 as a pick ‘n’ mix store in a London high street shopping centre, Kingdom of Sweets has grown into a huge supplier of all things sweet and sugary– way before it was the trendy business to start in lockdown.

Having been in the market for so long, they know exactly what their customers want too- and their out of this world selection of overseas goods shows this. There’s everything from Fruit Loops flavoured Pop Tarts to Creme Soda Dr Pepper here to choose from.

Upon entering, your eyes will cascade around the kaleidoscope of colour before spotting out row upon row of flavours you never knew existed.

If you’re looking for an early easter gift (to yourself), there’s Reeces eggs with white chocolate and XL peanut butter cups, or if you’re craving a mid-afternoon snack, there’s even mini versions of American favourites Mike & Ike in teeny 25 cent cartons.

Some of our favourite finds inside Kingdom of Sweets included Lays (those crisps that taste like every European holiday you’ve ever been on); KitKats in a ‘fruity cereal’ flavour that looks identical to Fruit Loops; pineapple and strawberry flavoured Fanta and Slush Puppie biscuits.

Although it would never be recommended, you could get every meal of the day from here: there’s a whole host of sugary cereals on offer too, including Oreo Os and breakfast Pop Tarts.

If that’s not enough, Kingdom of Sweets has a machine that makes those fantastic Tango Ice Blast Frozen drinks from the cinema too.

With a nod to eco-friendly credentials the Kingdom of Sweets even use the Too Good To Go app to offload stock close to its sell-by date. The company sells the sweets on this app at a fraction of the retail cost and helps to bring their wastage down to a minimal level.
