Another year, another fabulous victory for pubs around Yorkshire, as our region holds its own yet again on the prestigious Top 50 Gastropubs list.
The Estrella Damm pub guide awards, now in their 12th year, celebrate the best food-driven pubs around the country.
The 50 front-runners were announced last year but the pubs' rankings were only revealed at a ceremony in London this week.
And for another year, Yorkshire has nabbed plenty of room on the Top 50 Gastropubs list.

Even better, one of our very own has been grabbed the top spot and been crowned the third best in the UK. Class.
That pub is The Star Inn over in York.
Labelled by the awards as 'the perfect country pub', they said: "Star Inn chef-patron Andrew Pern is something of a local celebrity, not least because he’s had the pub for more than 20 years and owns several other sites across the north-east of England.
"The Star’s name has become synonymous across the country with a dedication to fine produce and playful but refined cooking."

Just a short train ride away from Leeds, we'll be making the trip over to York very soon indeed.
But anyway, onto the next.
The Angel at Hetton was crowned a very respectable fifteenth place, famed for its Michelin "pub food reimagined in a cosy environment that looks out across stunning landscapes."
Next up and maybe closest to us is the Shibden Mill Inn in Halifax that took the 21st place, which was celebrated for not only its incredible food but for its boutique guest rooms and beautiful surrounding areas.
Sounds like a dream staycation waiting to happen if you ask us.
The Abbey Inn in Byland came closely behind in 27th place, the third venue from The Great British Menu' winner and Michelin-starred chef Tommy Banks has been a favourite since it opened and one we're very keen to try.
Other pubs featured in the top 50 are The Pipe and Glass in South Dalton and The Durham Ox in Crayke.
We don't know about you, but we're really craving some proper pup grub now.
And thank god it was, as for over 60 years now their iconic pork sandwich has been fuelling the hungry people of Sheffield, and we'd go as far to say it's one of the best sarnies in the city.

Hot roast pork, herby stuffing, crispy crackling and fruity apple sauce all crammed into a soft bap - it really doesn’t get much better than that.
Being a traditional butchers, their pork joints are traditionally roasted and cured in house to give that succulent texture and crispy crackling every single time.
The very first shop was born at Wadsley Bridge where they quickly built a reputation for their sandwiches, this then allowed them to become a proper Sheffield household name after expanding rapidly through the 2000s.
They now have 14 sites across Sheffield, and each site is as good as the next. Not only are the pork sandwiches class but if you're ever faced with a hangover no matter how severe, their stacked breakfast baps are always there to save the day.
A brand-new bakery from the masterminds behind Silver’s Deli is opening in Leeds next week
Clementine Hall
Silver's Deli is opening up a sister shop, and this time it's about everything baked.
We all know and love Silver's Deli for their stacked subs and breakfast sandwiches that could cure any hangover no matter how severe.
They're so good, that they even bagged the coveted Uber Eats Restaurant of the Year Award last year.
And rightly so, because everything Silver's do is absolutely class.

And it seems there's just no stopping Silver's, as last month they announced that they'll be opening a sister shop named 'Silver's Bakehouse' serving up everything, yep you guessed it, baked.
What exactly has not yet been revealed, with owner Chris keeping details tightly under wraps.
But what we do know is that every single thing will be made fresh, with love, in-house, at their new brand spanking new location in Farsley.
They've been keeping adoring fans updated on their socials with renovation updates, and it's already looking absolutely top tier.
Announcing the very exciting news to Instagram, Silver's Deli said: "Well it’s happening. I said no more shops, but it’s kinda necessary, and I just love all things baked.
"There’s waaaaaaaaay too many details to share on this right now, but go give our sister shop @silvers_bakehouse a new follow and hold on tight. This is gonna be fun as fuck."
We're in no doubt that this venture is going to be absolutely brilliant, and you best believe we'll be first in line to try one of those brownies.
Silver's Bakehouse will be located on Town Street in Farsley and is opening next Friday 22 May - just in time for the late May bank holiday weekend. We'll see you there.
