McDonald's has left fans gutted after announcing it would be dropping two of its breakfast items.
Customers have said that the fast food giant has dropped the 'best thing' from its early morning offering.
The company posted the news today that it is 'parting ways' with parts of its early morning menu, The Manc reports.
McDonald's confirmed this morning that both breakfast bagels and breakfast wraps would be discontinued.
They said that they part ways 'with love and deep respect for one another' following a 'trial separation period'.

The company then tried to soften the blow by slashing the price of a McMuffin to 99p for the day.
McDonald's wrote: "Despite speculation and following a trial separation period, Breakfast Bagels & Breakfast Wraps will not be returning to the menu.
"We adore each other deeply but our love for the iconic McMuffin was simply too hard to ignore.
"We want our fans to know this is a mutual decision, to the extent that a bagel can make its own decision.

"Thank you to everyone who has supported our union. As for the rumours that there will be a new breakfast bae on the scene later this year… no comment.
"But its now time to say, "that's a wrap". And bagel. And that the McMuffin is 99p today."
Within an hour of posting, McDonald's had been flooded with thousands of comments.
One person said: "Ah the best item removed. Gutted. Lats maccys off my breakfast list."
Someone else commented: "The bagels were the only reason I went there for breakfast"
Another wrote: "Not interested in breakfast anymore. Wraps were the best! Completely ruined my morning cheers!"
One furious fan said: "Was gutted when you got rid of the big breakfast off the menu now you have removed the bagels. You now have the worse option available with the muffin it’s not a patch on the bagels and wraps!"

Call yourself a clever clogs? Channel 4 is currently looking for ‘secret geniuses’ to take part in a new immersive competition show.
And people from Yorkshire are being encouraged to apply.
Secret Genius is a new competition series that sees adults from all walks of life go on an ‘incredible journey of self-discovery’ by competing in a set of immersive intelligence games, and the show‘s producers are currently in the process of casting a group of clever individuals who have what it takes to go all the way.
According to Mensa UK, hundreds of thousands of people may be going about their daily lives unaware of just how intelligent they actually are.
This may be someone who’s always found puzzles, following complex instructions or directions easier than those around them but never understood why, or someone who feels that their natural abilities were misunderstood or overlooked at school or in their working life.

It may be someone who feels their input is dismissed by people when it shouldn’t be, or maybe just someone who’s curious to find out more about their potential brain power.
If this sounds like you, applications for Secret Genius are now open and you could come face to face with the show’s famous presenter duo, Alan Carr and Susie Dent, as the put you and your fellow contestants to the test.
The selected participants will take part in a series of heats, and have the chance to progress to the finals where one lucky person will lift the Secret Genius trophy.
