Heinz and Terry's have teamed up to create what might be the weirdest festive special yet - a Terry's Chocolate Orange-flavoured mayonnaise.
Yes, you read that right. According to Heinz UK and Terry’s, the Heinz Seriously Good Terry’s Chocolate Orange Mayo is a blend of mayonnaise and chocolate orange segments.
It’s also made with creme patissiere and an extra dose of orange oil to give it that proper Terry's touch.
The unlikely – and somewhat bizarre – concoction is said to be a “smooth and delicious spread that works perfectly dolloped onto your festive desserts or spread onto brioche, crumpets, pancakes, or croissants this festive season”.
“Here at Heinz, we are always innovating, and love creating fun new limited-edition products that we know our fans will love,” explained Maria Jantchi – Senior Brand Manager at Heinz.
“So, this year we set out to create the most Christmassy mayo that we could think of, and who better to partner with for that than the iconic Terry’s Chocolate Orange, everyone’s favourite Christmas treat?
“After months of development, we are absolutely delighted to be launching the world’s first-ever Chocolate Orange Mayo, just in time for Christmas.”
Laure Gentil – Marketing Controller at Terry’s Chocolate Orange – added: “Since Terry’s Chocolate Orange launched in 1932, we have never stopped innovating, growing, and launching new formats and flavours to delight our loyal fans.
“We are proud to be continuing this Christmas with our mayo mash up, which works perfectly as a delicious spread.”
If you’re thinking of trying the new Christmas condiment, unfortunately, it won’t be as simple as popping to your local supermarket or corner shop, as only 200 lucky winners will get to sample the limited-edition jars.
The new spread can be won in a competition that’s running until 13 December.

Morrisons has launched a nationwide search for its first Chief Doughnut Tester
Today is National Doughnut Day, and to celebrate, Morrisons is on the look-out for one sweet treat fan to take on a new role.
That’s right – today (5 June) is National Doughnut Day, and Morrisons is officially on the hunt for the nation’s ultimate doughnut devotee with the launch of its brand-new (and delicious) role, The Chief Doughnut Tester – with all glaze enthusiasts, sprinkle connoisseurs, and jam-filled aficionados urged to get applying.
The search is on to crown one lucky fan who’ll take on the dream job of taste-testing their way through the supermarket‘s range of doughnuts.

The new hire will be tasked with taste-testing doughnuts before they hit the shelves, giving verdicts on new flavours and textures, all in the name of research.
The role will also involve teaming up with Morrisons’ internal doughnut-expert team to develop new and limited-edition treats that’ll be in stores next year.
Crowned as the nation’s definitive doughnut authority, the selected winner won’t just earn the title of Chief Doughnut Tester, they’ll also receive the ultimate of sweet perks – a year’s free supply of Morrisons fresh doughnuts, which the retailer sells more than 1.1 million of weekly.

Crisps, biscuits, avocado, and chewing gum are just a few of the items that are soon set to be available for cheaper in the UK.
First announced by Chancellor Rachel Reeves last week, the Government has now published a list of more than 100 of key items that are set to see targeted cuts to tariffs, alongside uprating mileage rates for the first time in 15 years and reducing VAT.
It covers a wide range of ‘everyday essentials’ – from fresh fruit and vegetables, oil and baked goods, to chocolate, sauces, and soft drinks.
“The war in Iran isn’t our war, but one we will need to respond to,” Chancellor Reeves commented.
“My priority is keeping prices down for households and businesses. That’s why we’re freezing fuel duty, increasing the mileage rate for the first time in 15 years and slashed VAT temporarily this summer to help reduce the cost of days out.”

The Government says these cuts support the action it has already taken to reduce the cost of living – including freezing prescription charges, protecting motorists from fuel duty increases, and raising the minimum wage.
The list of everyday essentials set to see targeted cuts to tariffs comes after the Great British Summer Savings initiative was announced last week.
This means that, from 25 June through to 1 September 2026, a temporary reduced rate of VAT – down from 20% to 5% – will be introduced on children’s meals in restaurants and family leisure activities over the summer period.
