A second round of acts have already been added to the line-up for 2024.

What a week it’s been for Leeds Festivals.

In the past seven days, we’ve had the first lot of headliners announced for Leeds and Reading, as well as hearing plans from Live At Leeds: In The Park, the indie day-fest at Temple Newsam that kicks off the summer season the day before Slam Dunk.

And now only weeks after announcing You Me At Six as the first headliners to the UK’s biggest independent rock music festival, Slam Dunk has done a blinder and annonced even more acts for the festival.

Names announced today include 12-year-strong punk hardcore collective, The Ghost Inside, State Champs, who will be playing The Finer Things album in full (and Slam Dunk will be the only place in the UK you can watch this live in 2024 by the looks of it) recently reunited The Blackout, as well as names like Against The Current, alt-pop-punk TikTok star Taylor Acorn and Honey Revenge

The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus will also play Slam Dunk 2024, promising “contagious, air-punching rock”, whilst celebrations will be aplenty with appearances from South Cali’s hardcore metal Stick To Your Guns as they celebrate 20 years, and hot from a highly-anticipated US tour, New York hardcore band H2O will be enjoying their Diamond anniversary with Temple Newsam next year.

The new names will join You Me At Six, The All American Rejects and I Prevail at the top of the bill, plus a selection of pop-punk, emo, metal and alternative artists, spanning from The Wonder Years to La Dispute and everything in between.

Also on the bill, emo rock legends Funeral For A Friend, Brit metalcore Asking Alexandria, punk-rock legends We The Kings, and Houston’s finest pop-punk Waterparks, will all make an appearance.

Straight off the back of announcing their first album in over a decade, Boys Like Girls have also been announced on the first wave of the line-up, as well as Vegas alt-rock trio Palaye Royale.
