Tuesday 18 October – Sunday 23 October 2022 | Regency Hall, Bradford
Van Gogh Alive takes people on a trip through the periods of Van Gogh’s life that defined him as an artist – showcasing 3,000 images including iconic works like Starry Night, Sunflowers and lesser-known paintings inspired by his love of Japanese woodprints. The exhibition is also home to a life-sized walk-in representation of Van Gogh’s ‘Bedroom in Arles’ painting and a ‘Sunflower selfie room’ – a 360° mirrored space complete with hundreds of sunflowers.

Tuesday 18 October 2022 | Vicar Lane, Vicar Lane, Victoria Quarter
The restaurant will be opening on Tuesday 18 October above their popular sister restaurant, The Ivy Victoria Quarter. The new glamorous restaurant will be open seven days a week offering show stopping cocktails, theatrical drinks and vibrant, innovative dishes from day to night.

Tuesday 18 October 2022, 6.30pm | The Headrow, Leeds city centre
The Headrow House pub quiz is something quite special. Located in their huge beer hall, nestled amongst their sixty plus lines of beers from around the world, they promise a night of quizzes and games: start with the pub quiz and if you’re successful, your prize will be selected when you spin the wheel of fortune.

Wednesday 19 October 2022 | First Direct Arena, Arena Way
The American indie folk band will be bringing the soft melodic tunes back from 2007 to the present day to the First Direct Arena this month. Skinny Love singer Justin Vernon has been winning over the hearts of the UK for quite some time, and given there’s five full albums and countless singles to choose from, this will be a standout performance from one of folk’s most-loved bands.

Wednesday 19 October – Sunday 23 October 2022 | Kemps Farm, Malton
There’s far more than just grabbing your pumpkin for spooky season here. There’s 18 different varieties to choose from so grab your favourite white, blue, orange, green, warty big or small one and take a tractor ride through the picking fields. Alfie Templeman, at just 19, produces music that’s guaranteed to get everyone on their feet. Having made his debut back in 2016, the singer-songwriter has spent the past six years perfecting melodies that have seen the Mellow Moon singer shoot to stardom, landing an evening slot at The Leadmill Stage at Tramlines Festival earlier this year and joint headline tour with Thomas Headon across North America later this year.

For 90 minutes you can indulge on bottomless tacos, fajitas or quesadillas in the flavour of your choice. The supper club menu features three options for starter, main and dessert. Highlights from the menu include a Chicken and Mushroom Terrine with chicken skin crisp and sage and lovage pesto for starter, Pan Fried Sea Bream with artichoke, kohlrabi and fennel escabeche for main and a glorious Sticky Toffee Pudding for dessert topped with unctuous vanilla bean ice cream. Saturday 22 October 2022 | O2 Academy, Millenium Square
One of the indie bands circulating on all the Spotify playlists recently, The Snuts are a Scottish indie-rock four-piece with a lot to say about the world. Bringing Glasgow to Leeds this month, fans of Inhaler, Blossoms, Sundara Karma, Arctic Monkeys and The Amazons (you get the idea) are likely to find comfort in their soft rock tunes and wistful lyrics.

Sunday 23 October 2022 | Greek Street, Leeds
Neighbourhood is another Leeds venue giving you the option to go bottomless with your Sunday roast. Roasts are served every Sunday from noon, with choices like half roast chicken, slow-roasted rib of beef and courgette and cashew bake all priced at £16.50 with trimmings included.
Drinks-wise, for the bottomless option you’ll be paying an extra £25, with all the drinks you could want.

The Ilkley Literature Festival hosts an array of leading literary geniuses each year and this year’s exciting programme hints towards another show stopping celebration of the arts. On the final day of the event, renowned author Malorie Blackman will be at her only northern event to share her own story, entitled. Just Sayin’.

The three piece British girl group is back. Having changed their lineup three times before returning to the original trio in 2011, the One Touch singers were a 00s staple, bringing us Push The Button, Round Round, Too Lost In You and far too many other floorfiller club classics. Having now been performing for over 20 years, the band are back and bringing a nostalgic performance to Leeds later this month.
