‘Blossom’ is a brand-new stout beer that has been designed and brewed from start to finish by women in the business to celebrate International Women’s Day.
Yorkshire’s own Black Sheep Brewery has released a new, limited addition beer, Blossom, to mark International Women’s Day 2023.
The stout beer has been conceptualised, brewed and branded by the women the brewery and marks a true celebration of women in the beer industry.
Blossom is a strong, full-bodied stout with dark roasted malt and oats at it’s core, finished off with the addition of sweet cherries which give it that bright, fruity finish.
The beer will be available on cask at all Black Sheep pubs and the brewery in Masham as of today, 8 March 2023.
It will also be available in limited edition 500ml bottles online and in the brewery shop.
Charlene Lyons, CEO at the Yorkshire brewery commented on the launch: “Black Sheep Brewery has a rich 30-year history with many incredible women at the heart. We wanted to celebrate this history and our fantastic team through creating a brew made by and dedicated to our women. It was great to collaborate and build relationships across different departments, highlighting the team’s hard work and success, and to build on our efforts to support women in other ways as a business.
“We’ve been proud supporters of Women on Tap for the past three years, helping in the organisation’s mission to create an industry where women have equal opportunities, which is extremely important to us at Black Sheep Brewery’.
