Local lad and Youtube sensation Danny Malin will appear on popular BBC series tonight.
If you don’t know who Danny Malin is then first of all, where have you been? And second of all, he’s a local legend who rose to fame with his Youtube series ‘Rate My Takeaway’ where he does infact, go and rate takeaways.
Danny Mei Lan Malin, who now has a whopping 670,000 subscribers on his Rate My Takeaway channel, will star on Young MasterChef tonight, Monday 22 January.
The BBC Three TV show gives nine of Britain’s best young chefs a chance to put their cooking skills to the test in front of expert judges from social media.

With series two already underway, DANNY Malin will feature in episode 3, available for viewers to watch on BBC iPlayer after it airs
Posting on Facebook, the Barnsley-born star announced the news. He said: “Now then guys, I hope you’re having a fantastic new year so far.
“Just wanted to let you know you can watch me on Young MasterChef on January 22 on BBC Three and BBC iPlayer. I had a blast and can’t wait for you guys to watch it with me.”
It follows an incredibly successful 2023, as Danny got married, welcomed a beautiful baby girl and released a Christmas charity single which was all about Yorkshire puddings.
Yes, you read that correctly. A Christmas song all about Yorkshire puddings.
We’re sure Danny will be bringing his best tasting abilities to the Masterchef studio and we can’t wait to see what he thinks of the young talent.
