Cheap flights up for grabs as easyJet’s ‘Big Orange Sale’ is BACK for 2026

If you're in need of a holiday, there's no better time to book than now with easyJet's 'Big Orange Sale' returning to the UK.

Not only can you get affordable trips from the likes of Leeds Bradford and Doncaster Sheffield, specifically, but there are discounts across the board by the operator.

The Big Orange Sale is becoming an increasingly popular annual occurrence for Brits, with countless holidaymakers, rather fittingly, making the most of the offer.

Just as the ad explains, those travelling via easyJet can get up to 20% discount on flights to a load of different destinations across the globe.

Yes, the company are knocking up to a fifth off the price on flights over the course of nearly 10 months' worth of travel from the UK, provided the trip is booked within the right window.

Seeing savings on more than 730,000 seats, the time frame itself is also one of the longest cut-price periods you'll come across this year, not to mention well into 2027.

Better still, it doesn't just stop at flying itself...

Get this, the flight operators and travel agents are offering up to £400 off on package holidays, meaning those old faithful all-inclusives are about to become even more bang for your buck.

Featuring not only countless mainland European favourites on the list, but also the likes of the Canary Islands, Morocco, and numerous popular skiing hotspots, just to name a few.

As reported by our friends over at The Manc, there are loads of cheap seats from the likes of Manchester Airport, Liverpool, Leeds-Bradford and more as part of this year's sale.

Allowing you to book trips departing between 1 May 2026 and 14 March 2027, it's a huge travel window for you to get extra value-for-money deals on your next getaway.

A popular package holiday company has launched a new ‘Beckham Clause’ to help protect feuding families.

It's official… family fallouts are now holiday-proof, thanks to a new ‘Beckham Clause’ that’s been launched by a Manchester-based travel company On The Beach in the wake of the ongoing – and at this point, inescapable – Beckham family feud.

In case you need bringing up to speed, then allow us to (briefly) sum up the Beckham family drama for you as best as possible.

Basically, at the centre of this discourse the eldest Beckham child, Brooklyn, his wife Nicola Peltz, and primarily his mum Victoria, although as the months have gone on, it appears there’s no member of the Beckham family that isn’t somewhat involved (okay, maybe not Harper… well at least not publicly, anyway).

Earlier this month, it was reported that Brooklyn had become estranged from his family, and had told his parents to contact him only through lawyers.

And then yesterday, of course, Brooklyn publicly spoke out about the accusations on his Instagram Stories for the first time ever… and all hell broke loose in the celebrity news world.

On the Beach’s new clause – officially titled the Family Fallout Refund, and already nicknamed the ‘Beckham Clause’ by bosses – aims to give holidaymakers peace of mind that no matter how messy things get at home, their getaway won’t suffer, as it applies to family holidays where one member suddenly drops out due to a feud, argument, or full-blown emotional meltdown.

Under the new policy, if a family member pulls out before departure, their share of the hotel booking will be refunded rather than leaving the rest of the group to foot the bill.

Family fallouts aren’t just limited to celebrities, every year hundreds of holiday bookings need amending due to feuds, On The Beach said, which is why it’s chosen to launch the new refund scheme.

“We love family holidays, but we’re also very aware that family fallouts cam hamper plans,” explained Zoe Harris, who is the Chief Customer Officer at On the Beach.

“The ‘Beckham Clause’ is there for those moments when someone decides they’d rather cool off at home than by the pool.

“Our new perk means that if a family feud takes place and one person drops out, the rest of the group can still head off, relax, and enjoy the holiday they were looking forward to.”

The Family Fallout Refund is available on family holidays with five or more people, and needs to be claimed at least 60 days before departure.

It applies to new and existing bookings departing on or before 31 August 2026.

Five fantastic walks in the Peak District to embark on this weekend

The Peak District National Park covers 555 square miles mostly in Derbyshire, but also includes parts of Cheshire, Greater Manchester, Staffordshire, West Yorkshire, and South Yorkshire.

Last year, the Peak District celebrated its 70th anniversary as the UK’s first National Park named in 1951.

Grindslow Knoll

There are two options when walking Grindslow Knoll.

Option A is a four mile walk taking between two to three hours that’s steeper and an occasionally rockier ascent at times but is shorter overall, and then there’s option B, which is five and a half miles that takes half an hour longer than the other, but is a a more gradual route via Ringing Roger.

Both routes lead to a 360° view at the summit of Grindslow Knoll.

Gradually descend, meeting with the Penine Way and back to Edale.

Mam Tor via Black Tor

This is absolute cracker of a walk with stunning views and also easy on the knees.

Spreading across two Tors and across the back of the Great Ridge, this walk takes between two and a half to three hours and is a sum total of five miles.

Hiking up Back Tor is optional as it’s harder as the route goes up and down.

Kinder Scout via Grindsbook Clough

This is a bit of a longer one to really reset yourself after a tough week at work.

A wonderful eight mile walk taking between four to five hours, many seasoned Peak-goers crown this their favourite walks.

Kinder Scout is the highest point in the Peaks, so it’s definitely worth the trek as you can see all across the land and it even has a waterfall. It’s also circular, leaving the village past the Nags Head (some people might just end there), and then over the bridge leaving the tiny village behind you.

Kinder Scout via Jacob’s Ladder

This is a must-walk route because it covers two major Peak District locations – the highest point in the peaks, Kinder Scout, and Jacob’s Ladder.

Known as ‘the Beautiful Steps to Kinder Scout’, Jacob’s Ladder is a set of stone steps cut into the hillside, leading up to the Kinder Plateau, and the eight to 10 mile route follows the start of the Pennine way to an aesthetic packhorse bridge, which marks the start of Jacob’s Ladder.

Mam Tor via Jacob’s Ladder and Rushup Edge

Mam Tor is one of the most popular places to visit in the Peak District and this walk combines it with a loop via Jacob’s Ladder and Rushup Edge.

From Rushup Edge, there are beautiful views towards Mam Tor and then you cross to the Tor before slowly descending back to Edale – it’s a long but gentle walk of 10 miles taking between four and five hours.

Take your time and enjoy the views, because the Peak District’s got a lot of them.
