Viaduct Showbar in Lower Briggate has revealed that it will be bringing back its popular two-day Pride street party following the easing of restrictions on July 19, dubbed “freedom day”.
Taking place across the last weekend of July, the Pride street party will bring a host of queens, entertainers and DJs together in a no-holds-barred celebration of love in all its forms.
The fabulous event will also welcome a very special guest this year, the venue revealed as it shared the news to its Facebook page.

Running from Saturday 31st July to 1st August, on Sunday they are inviting down Ru Paul’s Drag Race UK star Divina De Campo for a huge headline performance.
Posting on social media, Viaduct Showbar said: “The news you all have been waiting for – our fabulous Pride Street Party returns for a very special two-day weekender on 31st July – 1st August!
“Catch all your favourite Viaduct queens, entertainers and DJs across the whole weekend, plus very special guest Divina De Campo on Sunday!”

Further entertainment will come from the likes of Susan Platt, Coco Vadose, Precious McMichaels and Miss Vile and Luke Horsefield on Saturday; followed by extra performances from Mamma Bear and Verry Cherry on Sunday.
Running from 2 pm both days until late, this Pride street party is not one to be missed.
Entry is free before 2 pm. on Saturday and 3 pm on Sunday, with tickets then going from £5 to £10 depending on your time of arrival.
