Trinity Kitchen is getting a makeover- with new converted VW Camper Van food truck

The rebrand will have be unveiled on Monday 7 February.

Trinity Kitchen has been closed this week to make room for some rather unusual additions to the food court.

Trinity shopping centre will be welcoming some new additions to the Trinity Kitchen food court next week.

The major rebrand is bringing the likes of a VW Camper Van to the food court, along with the return of the repurposed horse trailer and others, which are yet to be unveiled.

The food court welcomed an old Pergeot J7 last year and due to its success, there will be four new pre-loved vans added to the collection, which was previously occupied by The Pickled Porker. Specialising in smokehouse classics using free-range and locally-reared produce, everything on the menu is smoked for a minimum of 12 hours over applewood, oak and hickory wood chips for maximum flavour.

Since November, the shopping centre’s street food kitchen has also been home to Luigi Street Food, Spuds and Bros, Nelly’s Barn and Bombay Grab. The new vendors will be announced along with the refurb’s unveiling next Monday 7 February.

Before the Trinity Kitchen took a short break for renovations, the street food trucks were paid a visit by Rate My Takeaway legend, Danny Malin.

The YouTuber stopped at Luigi’s Street Food truck inside Trinity Kitchen to try out the deep-fried pizza, chicken parmi and other authentic Italian treats.

It wasn’t just the food at Luigi’s that the takeaway champion was impressed with, Danny was keen to express his excitement at all the trucks in Trinity Kitchen:

“They’re chucking some flavours together of the highest standards… some of these are the best in the land I’ll tell ya”.

You can see the changes to Trinity Kitchen for yourself on Monday 7 February- but if you can’t wait til then, go have a sneak peek up on the top floor of the shopping centre to find out what’s going on.
