You can now check your bags in the night before your flight at Leeds Bradford Airport

Under a new Twilight Check-in scheme from Jet2.

Someone heard our holiday worries- and found a timesaving solution.

Between delayed flights, long security queues, check in and all-round anxiety over the staff shortages that are disrupting the UK airspace this summer, if anyone is offering options to make flights easier this summer- we’re all ears.

To take the stress out of check-in times at Leeds Bradford Airport, customers flying before midday will be able to check their bags in the night before thanks to a new Twilight Check-in scheme from Jet2.

The airport is currently one of eight in the UK offering the scheme which will make that morning flight a little less stressful.

Other airports participating in the scheme include Manchester, Newcastle, London Stansted, East Midlands and Birmingham.

Whilst customers only booking with Jet2 will be able to use this offer, it could be a consideration for other airlines if proven successful.

To use the Twilight Check-in, all you need to do is arrive between 4.30pm and 9pm at Leeds Bradford Airport and visit the check-in desk and drop off your luggage as you would usually, just a few hours before. One person from the designated party can drop off up to six bags each too- so there’s no need for the whole family to make the trip.

The service is available seven days a week to those that have checked in online at least 24 hours before their flight, just remember to bring your passport and boarding passes when using the Twilight Check-in.

After that go ahead and get some shut eye before waltzing into the airport and straight to security at the designated time- that should save you potentially hours of queuing up at peak times (judging by recent experiences of those travelling through airports this summer).
