Our rolling hills are full of lots of hidden wonders and this unusual staycation is no different, situated perfectly between both Huddersfield and Wakefield.
If this water tower seems familiar to you it might be the fact that you can see it as you drive between Wakefield and Huddersfield.
Or maybe it’s because this holiday home has garnered lots of attention and fame for itself after featuring on Channel 4 staple ‘Grand Designs’.
This luxury water tower is as impressive on the inside as it is on the outside with a whopping four bedrooms and four bathrooms as well as lots of amenities.

Wake up and smell the coffee while staring out into the vast West Yorkshire landscape as this character countryside stay has a coffee maker on hand too.
Three of the bedrooms contain king beds while the latter has a double bed, so while the cylindrical shape of the building may seem snug, you can spread out far and wide in each of the four bedrooms.

A spiral staircase connects all four storeys and surprisingly there’s only 60 steps, so if you’re looking to squeeze in a workout while you’re away you’ll need to climb this windy stairwell more than once.

We've been very excited about this one.
If you know anything about the Leeds food scene, then you'll know the absolute legend that is Chef Fern.

Tori Nori is a modern Japanese grill and bar inspired by the bustling izakayas of Tokyo.
Everything is centred around the fiery robata grill where guests can watch the chefs cook everything from grilled fish to delicious yakitori skewers right in front of their very eyes.
All designed to share, this is a place to hang out with friends, enjoy some delicious food and maybe sink a few Japanese-inspired cocktails whilst you're at it.

Located on Vicar Lane, the space has had a whole refurb and it's looking fantastic. Complete with perfectly moody lighting, plush banquette seating and beautiful Japanese-inspired wallpaper.
The menu features an entire yakitori menu, from cheesy chicken thighs and pork belly to grilled king prawn and Japanese A5 wagyu all grilled over charcoal.
There's also Fern's signature sushi on the menu, as well as big plates to share such as teryaki half chickens and miso lamb chops.
