A local business owner has spoken out about a shock building collapse in Sheffield yesterday, which has left her unable to work.
Owner and tattoo artist Paula Zalewska, who owns the female-only studio Modelajna has shared a tearful update following the partial building collapse on London Road.
Shortly before 1am on Sunday, residents were evacuated from a number of flats in Sheffield after the front of the building collapsed.
Luckily, thanks to the speedy efforts of emergency services, no one was injured in the incident.
But it has left local business owner Paula reeling and unable to access her beautiful studio space.
Yesterday, she shared a brief update that the 'building has collapsed and affected my studio', adding: "At the moment I cannot enter and collect my equipment which leaves me unable to work."
But in a more in-depth video shared later that day, an emotional Paula added: "I'm coming here with an update, which is not much because I don’t know much. I guess first of all I should say a huge thank you to everyone who’s concerned, who’s worrying, for all your messages. Thank you again.

"It's crazy to see the amount of support, and know that my studio was such a safe space for not only me but for a lot of people.
"And the main thing is everyone’s okay and no one was hurt."
She added that the studio, and the business next door, had been affect by 'a lot of leak issues' and questioned if that has contributed to the dramatic collapse of the upper levels of the building.
Paula added: "The whole building is not safe to enter. Within the next few days they will evaluate the state of it and if it’s safe for me to get in and take my stuff.
"At this moment I’ve managed to find a new shop where I can move in even tomorrow and start working - but unfortunately I cannot because I don’t physically even have a tattoo machine with me. All of my stuff are there, everything."
She later updated followers that she will be able to retrieve her equipment from the studio in the coming days.
Modelajna is famed for its delicate fineline tattoos, and its safe female-only space.
Someone has now set up a Go Fund Me to try and help Paula get back on her feet.
And in the meantime, you can follow Modelajna on Instagram for the latest updates on her new studio space.

A live concert version of The Muppet Christmas Carol is coming to Sheffield
Danny Jones
We know it's not even the summer yet, but we're about to drop the C word, because a live concert version of The Muppet Christmas Carol is coming to Sheffield this year.
An all-time classic, adored by children and adults alike, Disney's Muppet Christmas Carol is arguably one of the best seasonal watches of all time.
Set to be hosted right here in the city centre at one of the most magnificent entertainment venues, the much-loved, festive and musical will be celebrated in its true glory, courtesy of a full orchestra.
If you haven't tried a Disney Concerts experience before, this is an ideal opportunity.
Announcing a date at the Sheffield City Hall, The Muppets' twist on the legendary Charles Dickens tale, which will see the visuals brought to life with the backing of strings, brass, percussion - the whole shebang.
If you've ever been to see one of these 'live in concert' type shows, you'll know how magical they can make rewatching even something you've seen countless times before.
With Disney Music Group's regular troupe of touring players taking on the original score and well-known soundtrack, you won't be able to help but sing back every word.
Originally composed by Miles Goodman (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels and Little Shop of Horrors), along with songs by Oscar, Emmy, and Grammy-winning songwriter, Paul Williams (Rainbow Connection and Evergreen), there's a reason the sound of this film, specifically, has stuck with so many people.
Just imagine this on the big screen as all the instruments kick in right then and there, in the flesh...
