A video has gone viral on TikTok after it highlights some of the best places to see and visit in Bradford city centre.
Bradford currently holds the title of ‘City of Culture for 2025’ so it will come as no surprise that a video has gone viral online detailing all the must-see places within this buzzing city.
Known for having an eclectic community, worldwide foodie flavours and now, this northern city has become the talk of the town once again with its picturesque spots.
This city has become the scapegoat of West Yorkshire receiving lots of negative comments online.
One social media user seemed surprised after watching the video stating, “I’m flabbergasted you actually made Bradford look nice”.
So, enough beating around the bush, let’s show you all the best places to see in Bradford as recommended by one viral TikTok video.
Best places to visit in Bradford (according to TikTok):
The Drum Winder Tunnel – Hustlergate
Starting right in the heart of Bradford, you’ll find Hustlergate, a distinctive area within the city centre that is also home to a staple drinking spot, The Drum Winder.
Although not a vast open space of greenery, it is however an area full of historical buildings in various styles: Victorian, Venetian Gothic and Italianate.
Plus you can pop in for a pint or two and that’s why it warrants its place as one of the best places to visit in Bradford.
Waterstones – The Wool Exchange

Ever fancied reading a book and grabbing a coffee in a Grade I listed building, because Bradford has got you sorted.
Back in 1996, British book retailer Waterstones moved into this old wool trading centre and turned it into an aesthetically pleasing paperback-filled paradise.
After featuring on numerous lists as one of the best bookshops in the UK, it is only fitting that this Waterstones inside the Wool Exchange gets even more recognition.
Queensgate – Little Germany

This West Yorkshire city may be home to a suburb called Little Germany but this place is a mini Hollywood in its own right being a filming location for many historical TV shows.
Whether it’s Peaky Blinders, Downton Abbey, All Creatures Great and Small, Gentleman Jack, it’s harder to name a period drama that hasn’t had segments filmed at this living history site.
After soaking up all that film knowledge, we reckon you’ll need a lie down – Good thing there’s been a permanent chair sculpture alongside a Grandfather clock that has resided here since 1992.
Market Street – City centre
The street which runs throughout Bradford city centre, the buildings here follow a similar Victorian architectural style, mainly because they neighbour each other.
As well as leading you to all the other beautiful locations on this list, Market Street has some impressive offerings itself like charity shops, restaurants and some of your favourite brands.
This road has been a staple for this West Yorkshire city for over 300 years and at one point had its own train station, luckily we’ve gained two more since.
Centenary Square – City centre
One of the most grand must-see locations in Bradford, this list would definitely not be complete without a mention of Centenary Square.
Known for being the home of another one of the city’s iconic Grade I listed buildings, City Hall, which is utterly magnificent.
In 2012, the plaza gained the addition of a waterfall display titled the Mirror Pool, as when you look at the floor as you pass by the huge City Hall reflects on the water.
Honourable mention:
Darley Street Market – City centre

It’s no secret that Bradford is known for its diverse community so what better way to celebrate it than combining a vast array of worldwide products and food vendors and popping them into a shiny new venue.
Darley Street Market may not have received a feature in this viral video but when you look at the sheer amount of eateries, sweet treats and foodie feasts; it’s hard not to give it a special mention.
The self-procclaimed ‘wool capital of the world’ is jam-packed with history and interesting relics, but it’s also full of fresh and exciting projects like this glorious market space.
Bradford is full of some absolute gems and if you don’t take our word for it, you can find the TikTok video HERE.
