Mel B says James Cordon is one of the ‘biggest d***heads in showbiz’

Scary Spice certainly did not hold back.

The Spice Girls star revealed all on Channel 4, calling Corden “the biggest d***head celebrity” she’s ever met, and that he’s “not very nice”.

The Leeds singer made these comments during an appearance on Channel 4’s series The Big Narstie Show.

She also jokingly called out one of her bandmates, Geri Halliwell, which resulted in some shocked expressions amongst the presenters and guests on the programme.

When co-host and comedian Mo Gilligan asked Mel B, “Who is the biggest d***head celebrity you’ve ever met?”, she certainly didn’t hesitate nor hold back with her response.

“So, there’s a few,” she said, before firing off: “James Corden, Geri Halliwell… and me.”

Mo Gilligan replied; “But Geri – she’s your bandmate,” to which Mel B said: “I know. I love her to bits but she’s really f***ing annoying.”

The host then asked Mel B what James Corden had done to earn the reputation, to which the pop star replied: “I think you always have to be nice to the people that you work with whether it be production, camera guys, sound, lighting.

“We all work for the same thing, so you should always be nice and he hasn’t been very nice.”

Although this statement resulted in an awkward silence amongst the audience, this is not the first time James Corden’s behaviour has been called out and questioned.

Earlier this year, New York restaurant owner Keith McNally described Corden as “a tiny cretin of a man” after allegedly making rude comments and ridiculous demands of his workers at Balthazar on two occasions.

In an Instagram post, McNally declared he had “86’d” Corden from his restaurant and he was no longer welcome there.

Eventually the ban was lifted after James publicly apologised on live TV during his talk show The Late Late Show. He will be leaving this show in 2023 and it is yet to be seen whether he will return to the UK or not, but if he does it may be to a frosty reception due to these damaging claims such as Mel B’s circulating through the rumour mill.
