The popular local music hub is set to re-open its doors at the end of the month.
Following a heartbreaking fire incident last year, The Grove on Back Row has been closed since November.
However, Stonegate Group has come to the rescue and following a substantial six-figure investment, the historic pub is now eager to welcome punters in once again.
The incredible restoration has returned The Grove back to its former glory, complete with new windows, ceilings and shiny refurbishments throughout that bring the pub’s Victorian charm and features back to life.
With an incredible history dating back all the way to 1839, The Grove holds a very special in the hearts of many Leeds residents as it still stands as the longest running folk club in town.
The Grove’s strong connection to local music is undeniable, with Mark Knopfler of Dire Straits having performed at this very spot.
Simon Colgan, Publican at The Grove, Leeds, said “Myself and Sharon are so pleased to be re-opening The Grove to the local community once again. The space has been completely restored throughout, and looks incredible.
“It’s going to be great to get the community back together again in this popular local pub, and we can’t wait to see you all there for some real ales and good times.”
The iconic pub is set to reopen its doors on Thursday 30 May, and we can’t wait to welcome back its long standing legacy to the city.
