And it’s all thanks to Leeds’ lovely locals.
It’s no surprise that we are massive fans of Silver’s Deli over here at The Hoot.
The sandwich gaff over in Bramley are famed for their stacked sub sarnies made with only the very best ingredients and homemade hoagie rolls.
More recently they’ve set up shop in Get Baked over in Headingley and soon Manchester, so it’s safe to say that the Silver’s way of life is on the rise.

And it’s not just us lot who have recognised their brilliance, as they will be competing in the finals of the Uber Eats Restaurant of The Year Awards.
Takeaways from every region are picked out by Uber Eats, and then it’s up to us lot to choose our favourites who then compete for the trophy down in London.
Silver’s Deli, of course, took the biscuit.
Announcing the news to Instagram, Silver’s said: “We’ve only gone and won the regionals for the @ubereats_uk restaurant of the year award.

“We’re off to London in a few weeks to see if we can bring this back to Yorkshire. If the Everything sandwich doesn’t bring it home nothing will! We obviously wouldn’t be going if it wasn’t for everyone slinging us their vote, thank you so much to everyone that did, we will be forever grateful.
“Obviously a huge shout out to the team for smashing it day in day out. I guess we better pick a winner for that thousand pound tab 💰”
Congratulations you bunch of legends, this is already a huge achievement but we have no doubt that you’ll be bringing that glistening trophy back to the city. Good luck in the big smoke, we’ll be cheering you on from afar.
