Noel Gallagher is coming back to Yorkshire.
This year, Sheffield was treated to a night of Oasis and High Flying Birds singles, but next year, it’s Halifax’s turn.
Noel Gallagher‘s High Flying Birds will be headlining on Thursday 18 July, following the release of their fourth studio album, Council Skies.
The band, fronted by the former Oasis legend, also sold out a huge homecoming gig at Manchester’s Wythenshawe Park last August bank holiday weekend.
Announcing the news on Instagram, The Piece Hall said:
“Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds are returning to The Piece Hall next summer for another incredible headline show on Thursday 1 August!
“Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday but Club 1779 members get pre-sale access from 9am on Tuesday. Read more and sign up on our website – link in bio.
“Existing Barclaycard & BarclaysUK Premier cardholders can access the pre-sale from 9am on Wednesday 6 December.
The singer will also be headlining Cardiff Castle, Ally Pally and headlining a special homecoming gig at Wigan Robin Park.
Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds will be touring on the following dates:
Wednesday 17 July 2023 – Cardiff Castle
Saturday 20 July 2023 – London Alexandra Palace Park
Thursday 18 July 2023 – Wigan Robin Park
Thursday 1 August 2023 – Halifax The Piece Hall
Noel Gallagher isn’t the first big name to be popping up at the Amphitheatre in 2024, the likes of Rick Astley, Pixies, PJ Harvey, Tom Odell, McFly, Fatboy Skin, Crowded House, Sir Tom Jones, IDLES, Sheryl Crow are all already booked for the new year.

The list of shows at The Piece Hall in 2024 is really shaping up to be a scorcher with several big names to play the legendary outdoor gig venues next summer.
It’s going to be a good year.
