Opening date announced for Leeds’ newest Irish pub on Greek Street

A taste of Ireland is coming to Leeds.

The popular Irish pub chain, Katie O’Brien’s, is set to open its next site on Greek Street in Leeds city centre.

And they’ll officially be welcoming punters from Friday 11 October 2024.

Opening up in the former Bar Soba site on Greek Street in Leeds city centre, expect proper Irish hospitality, plenty of Guinness and to be transported to the streets of Dublin as soon as you walk through the doors.

Inside there will be a cosy traditional pub setting, from exposed brick walls adorned with twinkling lights to comfortable booth seating perfect for big groups.

There will also be plenty of live music from Irish singers and bands, as well as the best acts from across the region performing live on the open stage.

For the sport fanatics, there will be large TV screens dotted around so you don’t have to miss out on any of the live sporting action.

And of course, there’ll be lots and lots of perfectly poured Guinness.

And to celebrate the new opening, Katie O’Brien’s is offering four lucky people a chance to win a trip to Dublin, along with spending money and a tour of the Guinness Storehouse. How class is that?

The bar chain opened its first location in Durham in 2023. It has since opened in six major cities including Newcastle, Durham and Leicester. Find out more information about the new opening via the official website.
