Northern hospitality recruitment consultancy, Sixty Eight People is hosting a free workshop in Leeds this month to address the staff shortages within the industry.
According to reports, staff shortages in the hospitality sector have caused almost half (45%) of operators to cut trading hours or capacity to cope- that’s why Sixty Eight People are “on a crusade to revolutionise the hospitality industry” and will be sharing their secret to success with Leeds.
On Tuesday 12 July 2022, the recruitment company will be spilling their secrets for free at Duke Studios for two hours at their Superstar Hunting workshop.
From 10am -12pm, key speakers will tackle the all-important questions like how can you attract superstars to your business, as well as helping you to understand how to predict future performance and deliver the skills you need to hold memorable interviews.
Leave with a new found confidence in hiring great talent and the ability to create a robust interview process that leaves you with exactly the right candidates for any position, and help you secure the team you need to thrive.
Cally Bannon-Smith, the head coach, spent 12 years heading up all things training at Living Ventures.
She says ” We recently surveyed 200 managers and a shocking 38% had received no or very poor training. 82% said that better training would make them stay longer. Class of 68 is what the industry needs right now.
Founder Abi Dunn also commented: “We know Leeds operators are really struggling to recruit great people. Too many people have left the sector so managers need upskilling to look beyond experience. I’m confident that by sharing some of our expertise, we can help the cities amazing hospitality scene get back to best”
