The fancy new Leeds restaurant serving steak with a side of drama

Including our very own Yorkshire ‘salt bae’.

There’s a new restaurant in town, and if you’re looking for a dining experience like no other then this is the place for you.

Introducing Etci Mehmet, a Turkish-inspired steakhouse that has just opened its doors in Leeds and is already setting the city’s food scene alight.

And we really mean that.

Because it’s not just beautiful steak these guys are known for, but it’s their immersive live fire shows that come with every dish that’ll really knock your socks off (and maybe your eyebrows).

This new opening really is bringing a whole new meaning to the phrase ‘dinner and a show’ because alongside your Etci Special Filet Mignon you’ll get a table side fire demonstration where the meat is cooked right before your eyes.

There’s also some very unique dancing and a lot of eye contact too, but we’ll leave all that to your imagination.

You can tuck into dishes such as their 28-day dry-aged premium beef to their specialist Beef Sushi and mezze boards, most of which are garnished by their very own Yorkshire salt bae.

For those who like their food to be next level fancy, you can even grab a 24 carat gold steak or perhaps a giant spicy meatball filled with melted cheese.

It’s something you didn’t know you needed, until now.

If you’re celebrating a special occasion with mates and are looking for something that little bit different, then Etci Mehmet is the spot for you.
