Team behind Ox Club and House of Fu to open new East Asian dining concept in Leeds City Centre

Best news ever.

The culinary masterminds behind three of Leeds’ most loved food destinations are bringing something new to the city.

When I say the words Ox Club, Galleria and House of Fu, you simply think of incredible food and amazing service.

So you can imagine when we found out that the team behind these fabulous restaurants are opening up a new kitchen in Leeds, we got very excited indeed.

Introducing RAKKU, a bold and experimental food concept that explores fresh approaches to East Asian cuisine.

And to make it even better, RAKKU will be opening up inside our favourite food hall, White Cloth Hall.

Being described as a ‘creative playground’, RAKKU will showcase innovative menus and adventurous flavours, allowing the very talented team space to push culinary boundaries while staying rooted in the quality and craft that their venues are known for.

Fans of House of Fu can expect experimental twists on some of their favourite dishes, whilst presenting a format with a menu that changes regularly with monthly specials and more.

Meaning diners will keep coming back for more, not that we’ll need any convincing.

While details of the first menu are being kept rightly under wraps, we can look forward to the same banging flavours and creative flair that we’ve seen from some of our favourite restaurants in the city.

RAKKU will launch on Thursday 2 October at 4pm, and we’ll be there at the front of the queue to see what it’s all about.
