Lewis Carroll fans will soon be able to visit an immersive Alice in Wonderland pop-up bar at a secret location in Leeds.
Fans for the book series (or Tim Burton’s 2010 reimagining) will be able to disappear down their very own rabbit hole soon enough as part of this fantastical 90-minute experience.
Suspended in an alternate reality, guests at The Alice Bar will be greeted by their very own Mad Hatter who’ll preside as host – encouraging them to mix their own enchanted teapot cocktails and offering them a special ‘eat me’ cake, just like in the book.
Diving through the looking glass into the magical fantasy world of Alice, where you’ll meet the March Hare, solve riddles and challenges just like Alice, paint the roses red and maybe even play some croquet with flamingos (not real ones, though).
Decked out with floating tea pots, fairy lights, characters from the book and kitsch tea party decor, if you’re lucky you might even manage to wake the dormouse and convince him to give you a story.
With a provisional date set for the pop-up bar to run from 1st July to 22nd October, guests are being asked to register their interest in tickets by signing up for the Wonderland Bar’s release here.
Disclaimer – No flamingos will be hurt during the course of this adventure.
