Leeds International Beer Festival returns for it’s 10th Anniversary year

This year promises to be the best one yet.

The annual four day festival celebrating and promoting craft beer brewed in the UK and overseas kicked off today at Kirkstall Abbey.

Do you love beer? Do you love food? Do you love music? If the answer to any of those three questions is yes, then we urge you to keep on reading.

The Leeds International Beer Festival is back for it’s 10th Anniversary year and it’s set to be the best one yet.

Kicking off today, 8 September and going on until Sunday 11 September 2022, the festival have taken over the beautiful Kirkstall Abbey for what promises to be a boozy celebration of everyone’s favourite golden nectar.

Expect an absolutely ginormous selection of beer for you to sample, from local breweries which we all know and love to international beers far and wide, there’s a tipple for everyone to enjoy at this year’s festival.

There’s so many different beers on offer that even if you set up camp at the site and tried all of them on a 24-hour basis, you still would not be able to taste them all (but you could give it your best shot).

And it doesn’t just stop there, there’s also an epic array of street food vendors serving up delicious goodness to soak up some of those pints.

Leeds favourites Bundobust will be there dishing out their vegetarian Indian delights as well as Little Bao Boy who will be (you guessed it) serving up enough bao buns to sink a small ship.

Live bands will be lighting up the tipis and providing the entertainment for the weekend so you can rock out into the night with a bao bun in one hand and a beer in the other.

The festival is open all weekend and entry is operated via two different sessions, from 12-5pm and 6-11pm. All tickets cost £15 other than the Sunday session where you can grab yourself a bargain for just a fiver.
