A huge new Roxy Ball Room is opening in Yorkshire this summer

Opening this summer.

The latest Roxy Ball Room to open will be right here in Yorkshire.

We all love a game or two at Roxy’s (that’s no secret) but now there’s a whole new location to keep us entertained with beer pong, pool, curling and so much more.

Taking over a whopping 15,500 sq ft of Sheffield’s iconic Telephone House, the latest Roxy Ball Room is the latest to bring games aplenty to Yorkshire’s up-and-coming city.

Expect to competitively take on the likes of American pool and shuffleboard tables with friends before grabbing a puck and playing a round of the newly-developed ice-free curling lanes.

If that’s not enough, you’ll be able to sing your heart out in a private karaoke room, shoot some hoops on the basketball games and even duckpin bowling will be available to book in and whilst a strike isn’t guaranteed, the classic Roxy’s aesthetic of graffitied walls and modern decor is guaranteed to make an appearance as part of the makeover of the historic Sheffield venue.

What was formerly the Roxy Disco venue from the 80s and 90s, the O2 Academy concert venue is going to return to its original namesake, albeit under a new Roxy name and guise, this summer.

Anyone who knows and loves Roxy’s endless games and things to do will be drooling over their American-style menu of pizzas, small plates and an extensive drinks list with no less than 16 beers and craft ales, all of which will be available to accompany your games from the day of opening.

Joel Mitchell, Brand Development and commercial manager for Roxy Leisure said:

‘’After several years of success in some of the north’s most prolific cities, it was only a matter of time before Roxy found a home in Sheffield. The Telephone House venue is simply perfect, with plenty of room for our wealth of gaming options and a prime location in the heart of the city’s buzzing nightlife scene.’’
